Shannon began her counseling educational career path when she graduated from Rochester College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Counseling in Psychology. Knowing she wanted to work with adolescents by assisting them before they became involved with the court system she pursued and graduated in 2008 with a second bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from University of Phoenix. She continued her education at University of Phoenix and graduated in 2010 with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Shannon is currently enrolled at Walden University, pursuing her doctorate degree in Counseling Education and Supervision with a specialty in Forensic Mental Health Counseling.
Shannon has experience working with children and adolescents, as well as adults, incorporating variety of counseling techniques with her people based on their needs. She also works with groups and families.
She feels satisfaction helping people who are experiencing different challenging issues in their life, some of these issues may be: anxiety, depression, peer problems, substance issues, and self-esteem. Shannon will provide the client with support, guidance, and counseling.
