My speciality is with children because of a lifetime of working with children. I also believe the earlier a problems is addressed the better the outcome. Parents,or significant adults, are an intregal part of recovery. Communication and coping skills are an important role in recovery.

I have had trauma training to address major conflicts and grief and loss issues. I believe in a cognitive approach but can use different modes of therapy including art therapy with all ages and play therapy with younger population.

My name is Betty Thack. I have a master's in education and a masters in counseling. I am certified as a child and adolescent specialist and am trauma trained. I have worked with clients from the ages of three to 89 years of age with various concerns. I continue to expand my knowledge through education and workshops.
